The Douchebag Song

The Douchebag Song

Let us sing the song of Douchebag.

Just to smell the pretty hair of my prize,
I had to cultivate for sooooo long.
And then,

"A wild Douchebag appears!"
and took it away.
So easily, he plucked the flower,
the fruit of my sweat and sleepless nights,
just because he is a Douchebag.

O, Douchebag!
"What did I ever do to you?
Spare me and love of my life.
Stay away Douchebag! Stay away!"
He laughed, The Douchebag laughed.
Looked down at me with a face of the victor.
I have lost my words, lost my war.

Douchebag in my nightmare
Douchebag is in his fancy car
Douchebag is at the festival
Douchebag is on the moon
Douchebag is in television
Douchebag is in toilet
Douchebag, Douchebag everywhere.

O, Douchebag!
Will you disappear at the end of the day?
or will you haunt my life forever?

On Ethics of Genetic Extermination

This is the second hour of 2013 and I am reading a blog post on talkingphilosophy.com. It talks about the ethics of genetic extermination.

I am not interested in whether we should genetically modify species to exterminate them or not. I am rather interested in, as usual, the line of reasoning.

The writer argued that it can be justified with utilitarian approach, saying that
"its extermination would seem to be morally justified on the grounds that doing so would create more good than harm. Naturally, if a harmful species were also beneficial in other ways, then the matter would be rather more complicated and such extermination could be wrong on the grounds that it would do more harm than good."

Dream Record #1

I decided to record my dreams. The motive is not clear. Maybe because I just want to see how my dreams differ from time to time and search for symbolism within them when I'm bored. I am quite a dreamer, i.e., I dream a lot. But I forget most of my dreams, just as many people do. Actually we do remember our dreams as soon as we woke up. We forget because we didn't care or try to remember them. So, from now on, I will try to record my dream as much as I can. I had a series of dreams last night, one after another, but I didn't record them. This is my first dream of last night. I don't know what is that supposed to mean, but still it reflects some unconscious parts of my daily life existence.

"I got black or brown boot with SD card reader on the back. I tied my shoelaces at my home, and put red SD card into reader. There was a USB port for the boot to connect with PC too. Then at the shopping centre, I was in the clothing shop with my friend. I think he was choosing T-shirts. A comment from either one of us is that "westerners likes to wear plain shirts, Asians look better with patterns on their shirts." I think that's me because my friend said "I like Asians," then I said "then wear shirt with patterns." Then we rode the escalator downstairs and find the USB cable for the boot. I even told him about the boot on the way. We searched and asked for USB cable, the sale staff (man) showed us a cable (microphone?) with jack pin. I told him that's not what I was looking for. He said feel free look yourself then I found a shelf with categories on it. I looked for USB cable and I found out that the previous cable (microphone?) is the only one left."

All in the Family by Brian Warner

He hoped the tape recorder would still work. It was one of those small portable ones often used in schools or libraries.

Teddy didn't even realize the irony of his action-Angie was in fact the one who had bought it for him. He wiped the hair and blood off the corner and released a sigh of frustration. "Mother will probably ground me from the television," he considered, looking to the mess he had made.

"Damn her. Damn them all. Why did she have to hurt Peg? Why?" Balefully, he kicked the corpse beside him. Her glazed eyes stared back at him with empty fascination. "You bitch. You killed Peg."

His sister's dead look gave no response. (He wondered why.) Her face looked so shadowed. He lifted her head up by her clotted hair and saw that it was dried blood on her cheek that created the mock shadow. He saw, too, that the dent in her skull had stopped gushing; the coagulated blood had formed a gelatinous plug.

Mother would be home soon. He would have to dig a grave.

Long Hard Road Out of Hell

I have always been a huge fan of Marilyn Manson. I loved his music, performance, writings, appearance, well, everything. I admired him and in the same level as Hitler, Mao, and even Nietzsche and Karl Marx. Because he is the only individual of our age who is so powerful and strong. I was heavily influenced by him since I was a kid. Actually, my interest in philosophy, religion, fame, and freedom started with listening to him. His lyrics struck me in the head. I admired him, appreciated him. It is normal for me to have interest in the life of a man who I admire.

Through the reading of his book, I became to understand him more than ever. His ideas, his life, his experiences, his philosophy, I can see them clearly in his book. His life is a story of a worm, who is scared and abused, struggle his way up to get wings and became a hero, Antichrist.

Franz Kafka's The Trial Review

It's been a long time since i update this blog. The reason is I simply don't have any inspiration these days. (or maybe I'm not trying to write) Just as in my last short-story, my life-course is repeated with same schedule everyday and then I'm lost. Still, there are some drafts which are just some paragraphs or comments. Here is one of these, a review I wrote on Goodreads.com, which maybe my last straw to regain my inspiration. I hope I can update again one or twice per week.

P.S. I will try to avoid sophisticated tone in my later submissions and try to act like just another blogger ;D

Kafka's another attempt to make fun of living a life. This time with the Trial. One morning, you are accused with unknown crime and live your life as a criminal, everyday is the trial. You can't do anything to defend. You can't run, you can't hide. You desperately search for help but that, too, is hopeless. The Law is above everything. (Heavenly law?) Later, you will realize that you can't do anything to it and finally wait for the judgement, and accept it. That is Kafka's version of life.

In this story, Kafka's symbolism is impressive. It reflects on religion, life, law, even political status of Germany in his era. The young has lost hope, the court is unreliable, the court officials are the worst of all. I'm afraid it, too, reflects the current state of Burma today.
